We've got some news we really wish we didn't have to share: we've shut Visume down.

And honestly, the timing breaks our hearts a little. We were so close. Visume v4 was basically ready. Years of work, real power under the hood and platform-wide insights. We were just days from finally putting it in your hands. Getting stopped right at the finish line by the legal and financial side at once? That one really hurts.

To be straight with you about the why: we couldn't secure official permission for the data access v4 needed, and without a proper legal basis we're not willing to push forward, even with the tech sitting there, ready to go. And without the funding to carry it the rest of the way, we couldn't keep it alive.

The free version we've offered for years was always our way of giving something back. v4 was meant to be the real step up, the thing we poured years of our lives into. It's tough knowing it won't get to see the light of day.

We're not going to promise anything we can't keep. But we won't pretend the door is fully locked either: there's a small chance Visume comes back one day — if the legal ground shifts, and the funding lines up, we'd love nothing more than to pick this back up. No timeline, no guarantees. Just a maybe we're quietly holding onto.

And to the small handful of models who truly showed up for us: thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. You backed us when it counted, you sent us your ideas, you believed in what Visume could be. A couple of you carried more of this than you'll ever realize, and Visume simply existed because of you. We'll never forget that.
